A profile is what Acme knows about a project: what you do, who you write for, how you sound and the facts that never change. It is written once, read by every conversation and every workflow in the project, and it is the difference between a generic answer and one you can use.

What a profile holds
- About — what the project is, in three or four lines
- Audience — who reads what you write, and what they already know
- Voice — the tone, with a few words to prefer and a few to avoid
- Facts — names, prices, opening hours and other things that must be right every time
- Look — colours and, on paid plans, the style of generated visuals
Set it up
Write a profile in five minutes
Open Profile
In a project, choose Profile. Your personal basics live in Settings → Profile and apply to every project.
Paste your site or write a few lines
A link is enough: Acme reads the page and proposes a profile. Otherwise write what you do, who for and how you want to sound.
Correct what is wrong
Edit any line in place. The correction is saved and used from the next answer.
Test it
Ask for something real and compare the draft with how you would have written it. Adjust the voice until it fits.
Example
A small studio that restores furniture wrote this profile:
We repair and restore wooden furniture for private customers. Our customers are people who inherited a piece and want to keep it. Sound calm, plain and a little dry. Say “restore”, not “revive”. No exclamation marks.
The same request — a short reply to someone asking about prices — then comes back in that voice, without anyone repeating the instructions.
What you write into a profile is read by requests in that project only. Another project keeps its own voice, so one account can serve several brands without mixing them.

Frequently asked questions
Can I have a different voice for each channel?
Yes. Keep the base voice in the profile and add the channel to the request: “for a short social post” or “for a formal letter”. For channels you use every week, make a workflow for each.
Does the profile change what the assistant knows?
It changes what the assistant knows about you. It does not add outside facts; for those, attach files or ask with sources.
Who can edit a profile?
Owners, admins and editors. Viewers can read it. See Shared projects and roles.
