About Acme

A small team building the workspace for everyday work.

Acme is one workspace with an assistant inside it. Describe the task in plain words and get back a draft you can edit, a plan you can follow or an answer you can check.

People using Acme weekly

Started by people tired of slow work.

Most of an ordinary week is not hard work, only slow work: turning notes into a plan, a plan into a first draft, a first draft into something you are willing to send. Acme began in 2023 as a folder of scripts two of us used to get through our own weeks.

Friends asked for a copy, then their teams did. The scripts became a product once we noticed that nobody wanted more features, only fewer steps between an idea and a result. Today it works for a bakery owner as well as for a product team, without a manual or a course on prompts.

Our mission

Make everyday work lighter

Most of a week is not hard work, only slow work. Acme turns notes into plans and plans into drafts you are glad to send, so a bakery owner and a product team get the same head start, with no manual and no course on prompts.

How we work

Drafts for you, decisions for people

The assistant prepares the work and a person decides what goes out. We say what the tool cannot do, keep your data yours and charge only for what costs us money, and every change ships in small steps you can read in the changelog.

The people behind Acme.

A small, fully remote team of engineers, designers and writers. Most of us ran a small business or a side project before, so we build for the week we used to have.

We moved our weekly reports into Acme and got a day back every week. It is the first tool the whole team actually opens.

The drafts sound like us, not like a template. That alone made it worth it.

Two people, one workspace, and somehow we ship like a team of five. The plans are clear and easy to hand over.

Clients get a thoughtful reply the same day now. Great product, worth a look.

Clean out of the box, quick to learn, and the search finds things I forgot I wrote. Our proposals went from days to hours.
